WHAT'S NEW AT RUSSELL NURSERY


You’d think that November and December would be a quiet time in the nursery business, but around here it’s anything but. We are full of plans for next year, ordering fresh stock, seeking out interesting new plants, cleaning up the nursery, doing inventory but mostly preparing for a festive December. We all have a hand in cutting greens and crafting our unique wreaths – it’s great to have a reason to be inside with the fire going on a rainy day! We hope to see many of you in the next few weeks. We’ll be serving up our hot spiced cider on weekends, and for all our wreath-making classes. Please come and pay us a visit to say hi, pick out the perfect tree and warm up with a cup of Christmas cheer!

Christmas Trees: Our freshly cut, Island grown trees arrive on December 4th – all the way from Duncan. We’ll have Douglas fir, Grand fir and a few Noble firs in a wide range of sizes and prices.

Wreaths, Table arrangements, Topiaries and more: Our staff is busy making all kinds of wreaths, centerpieces and mini topiaries among other things. If you like to do it yourself, everything you might need is here, including greenery, holly, cones, berries, wire wreath forms, paddle wire, moss and more.

Not sure how to do it yourself, or looking for a christmas activity to to do with a friend, then sign up for one of our fabulous Wreath Making Classes, made with local renewable greens.
